R and I grilled out some delicious turkey burgers on Saturday night. I have to admit that I've always been a little weirded out by turkey burgers at restaurants, etc, but we decided to give it a shot and I loved the result. I highly recommend them! It was a lovely evening after work, and we got to sit out on the deck and relax and then have movie night. I do love movie night - and I appreciate that I get off work early enough on Saturdays to still enjoy the weekend a little.
Yesterday at church was palm Sunday (a perk of my job is that we don't open until noon on Sundays). It is a really cool service - and I always love Easter so I am looking forward to next weekend. That may also have something to do with the fact that it isn't my weekend to work. Here are a few of my Easter things around the house!
I love a good holiday - and a chance to decorate the house! Well, I'm off to do the Monday laundry and have lunch with a friend. I hope you all have a marvelous Monday as well!
Your Easter decorations are precious, my friend! I am also coming around to the world of ground turkey. I used to turn my nose up at it, but it tastes pretty good and is so much healthier than ground beef! I hope to catch up with you soon, dear LA!
